Before you begin
Uneven motion can come from missing frames or repeated frames. Video smoothness improvement checks both patterns automatically. It targets these timing problems rather than selecting a new output frame rate. Every successful task includes a detection report; a repaired video is available only when the service returns one.
Prepare a short source clip
Upload an MP4, AVI or MOV clip up to 35 seconds, 4K and 1 GB. Landscape and portrait files use the same limits. Use an SDR source with square pixels so the service can inspect the original timing without a separate conversion step. The server checks the uploaded file before accepting a paid task.
Choose a clip that contains the affected movement, such as a camera pan or a moving subject. Keep an original copy for comparison. The built-in sample lets you explore the upload and quote flow; it does not demonstrate a verified repair or guarantee a quality improvement.
Understand the automatic repair options
Periodic stutter repair and duplicate-frame repair are both enabled. Keep source frame rate controls how the periodic-stutter stage balances inserted frames. It does not guarantee a fixed final frame rate: the duplicate-frame stage can remove repeated frames, and the service may skip a repair stage after checking quality.
The report lists detected missing and duplicate frames. These counts are not proof that every detected frame was changed. A successful report without a video can mean that no repair was needed or that repair was skipped. The tool cannot distinguish those outcomes from the returned report, and does not present the original clip as a repaired result.
Check the maximum quote and final charge
Before processing, the tool quotes and reserves the repair rate of 40 credits per input minute. A successful task with a video uses that rate. A report-only success uses 4 credits per input minute. Charges round up to a whole credit with a minimum of 3 credits for either result. Resolution and frame rate do not multiply this price.
For a 35-second clip, the maximum quote is 24 credits. A report-only result consumes 3 credits and releases the remaining 21 according to the original credit source and expiry rules. Failed or canceled delivery releases the reservation. Changing the frame-rate option invalidates the current quote so the accepted settings remain consistent with the task.
Review, download and retain the result
Open the completed task to review its detection counts and actual credit charge. Download the JSON report for either result type. If a video was returned, preview it and compare motion, sound and timing with the source. The downloaded video uses its measured output properties; the tool does not promise a fixed codec, frame rate or duration.
Completed results remain available for seven days and can be reopened from your library. Report-only items have a report icon and a JSON download. Deleting the original asset removes access to its linked result. Download what you need before expiry and retain your original source independently.
- Inspect the affected movement rather than relying on the detection counts alone.
- Compare audio, playback timing and file properties when a video is returned.
- Save the report and any repaired video before the seven-day result window ends.
