Introduction

Check your video before uploading

Understand the supported codecs, aspect ratios, duration, and file size.

The extension is only the first check

MP4 and MOV are containers; the video codec must also be supported. The preview accepts H.264, 8-bit SDR, with AAC audio or no audio track. The actual media is inspected after upload.

Keep within duration and size limits

Clips may be up to 60 seconds, 200 MB, and 30 fps. The longest edge must not exceed 1920 pixels and the shortest 1080 pixels. Choose a 16:9 or 9:16 aspect ratio. Unsupported media returns a specific validation message.

Keep the shape of your story

Landscape 16:9 and portrait 9:16 clips keep their orientation. The output does not crop the scene or stretch your subject to fill a different frame.

Start with a short clip

Choose a 5–10 second clip with faces, textures, or movement. Review the output carefully before working through more of your footage.
