Automatic speech recognition turns speech into timestamped text. It gives you a draft for editing, search, or captions; it does not verify names, technical terms, punctuation, or every speaker boundary. Review the transcript before using it as a final record.

Choose an audio or video source

The tool supports common video formats and MP3, M4A, or WAV audio. Audio must contain one audio track and no video stream. Processing is limited to three hours and the app enforces a 2 GB input limit.

Use the clearest recording available. Noise, overlapping speech, music, accents, and low levels can affect recognition. Keep the source to verify uncertain words.

Select the spoken language

The supported languages are Simplified Chinese, English, Spanish, and Indonesian. Choose the language that matches the speech; a wrong selection can produce plausible but incorrect text.

Speaker labels may appear when returned in the recognition result. They are not guaranteed to separate every voice, so do not treat the output as complete diarization.

Understand the transcript output

The result is timestamped subtitle records, not a newly encoded video. Review the text in the results page and download an SRT file.

The SRT export joins line breaks inside a subtitle with spaces. Keep the recording beside the structured transcript so you can correct the text.

Proofread before publishing

Listen to uncertain sections while reading. Check names, numbers, specialist terms, punctuation, and timing around interruptions or overlapping voices. Recognition is a draft, not a certified transcript.

For legal, medical, financial, or other high-stakes uses, ask a qualified person to verify the transcript against the recording.

Confirm the selected language and source are correct.
Check spelling, numbers, names, and timings against the audio.
Open the downloaded SRT in its destination editor or player.
