How to Upscale an Image for a Larger Canvas

Prepare the original image

Use a clean static JPG, PNG, or WebP. Repeatedly saved or messaged images can contain compression noise that becomes more visible when enlarged.

Inputs are limited to 10 MB, a 3840-pixel longest edge, 8,294,400 total pixels, and a supported aspect ratio. The server checks the actual image after you start.

Choose a practical output size

Choose 1080p, 2K, or 4K to meet the intended display or layout. These are output-size tiers, not quality scores. The result preserves the image proportions and cannot be smaller than the original.

The square 1024 option is for square images. Other tiers fit the source ratio within their bounds. Check the dimensions shown for your file.

Understand the fixed tier price

Image processing uses a fixed credit amount for each supported size tier. Review the selected tier and its displayed price before starting.

If the image or selected tier does not match the server quote, the tool will not silently switch to another paid size. Adjust the source or selection and review the quote again.

Inspect details that matter

Compare the result and source at the same scale. Look closely at faces, lettering, small objects, and repeated textures; generation can reinterpret unclear details.

The result is a PNG. Check its color, crop, transparency expectations, and dimensions in the software that will use it. Keep the original.
